The newly established working group "Data-based Value Creation" at Fraunhofer IOSB-INA supports companies in developing, marketing and operating scientifically sound and at the same time application-oriented data-based value creation models. To this end, we combine technologies such as artificial intelligence, Internet of Things, cloud computing, robotics and cyber security with approaches for new, digital business models and business processes as well as the required organizational structures. The research group takes on the economic perspective and works closely interlinked with our technological research groups and our partner companies.

What you do with us

You are an intrapreneur and build up the new research area Data-based Value Creation at our institute. You will take over the technical and disciplinary management of your research group and develop suitable offers for industry in the areas of digital transformation, industrial services and servitization. Together with your team, you will acquire research and industry projects and successfully implement them. Together with the scientists involved, you publish articles for relevant journals and scientific conferences, network with associations, initiatives, and interest groups, and thus ensure our visibility in your group's topic area.You visit companies, identify digitization potential, and initiate transfer and innovation projects.
 

What you bring
 

You have successfully completed a scientific university degree in the field of economics, industrial engineering, or business psychology. Ideally, you bring a doctorate or a personal interest in it. You also have experience in dealing with industry partners, managing projects with industry and research partners, or personnel and budget responsibility. Experience in the implementation of digital transformation projects of companies, for example in the manufacturing industry, is also ideal. You should also have previous experience in planning and conducting workshops and in preparing scientific research results for different audiences.

You are a technology-savvy, committed, independent and entrepreneurial personality who likes to think outside the box. You have outstanding skills in linking scientific research and application-related issues. In addition, you are flexible in terms of time and have a strong ability to organize yourself.

The weekly working time is 39 hours. The position can also be filled on a part-time basis. Employment, remuneration and social benefits are based on the collective agreement for the public sector (TVöD). In addition, Fraunhofer may grant performance- and success-based variable compensation components.
