What you will do with us
- Research and testing of the latest technologies in the field of generative AI
- Development of novel application areas for the use of language models
- Independent planning, development, and testing of innovative approaches
- Prototype implementation of sophisticated software solutions
- Cooperation with industry partners and other research institutes
- Documentation, publication, and presentation of scientific work results
- Support in project acquisition and application preparation
What you bring to the table
In addition to a degree in computer science, electrical engineering, data science, mathematics, or similar fields, we require an interest in modern web technology, software architecture, and software development methods. You have very good German and English language skills and a high degree of initiative, creativity, and team spirit.
What you can expect
In exciting and varied projects with partners from industry, the public sector, and academia, you will accelerate the use of artificial intelligence in industry. As the interface between users and backend developers, you will find creative solutions and ensure an impressive user experience. You will work on a variety of use cases together with different companies. You will publish and discuss your research results at international conferences and in industry and research committees. Involvement in academic teaching is possible. Regular training tailored to your individual needs and the best possible technical equipment are just as much a matter of course as a corporate culture characterized by collegiality.

The weekly working time is 39 hours. The position can also be filled on a part-time basis. Employment, remuneration, and social benefits are based on the collective agreement for the public sector (TVöD). In addition, Fraunhofer may grant performance- and success-related variable remuneration components.
