Connected mobility and 5G

In the project, a highly innovative monorail vehicle, which is being developed in the MONOCAB OWL project (www.monocab-owl.de), is to be networked. The 5G networking is intended to enable safer and more comfortable operation of the MONOCAB. The 5G technology addresses problems that cannot be sufficiently realized with 4G. These include real-time vehicle controller networking, communication with the environment (V2I), communication with a control center (V2X), communication between vehicles (V2V) and the transmission of high-resolution video streams.
